Something for everyone - Craft Stalls, Games, Competitions, art
activities and a chance to meet and support Blind Veteran Shaun
Join Blind Veterans UK in the beautiful surrounds
of the village of Llanberis for a fun filled day and opportunity to
find out more about the work this charity carries out at its
A marquee with craft stalls, games, art activity and
competitions will be situated on the village green along with
vintage military vehicles, a birds of prey display and a Climbing
Tower. Prizes up for grabs include a Green Wood Forest Park
Family Pass and a voucher for Zip Worlds Velocity.
Completition of a quiz trail that will help you explore the
village and its many other attractions will give you a chance to
win a One For All Shopping Voucher worth £50.
Visitors can also try their hand at a range of activities while
wearing simi-specs - special glasses that simulate some of the
varying eye conditions experienced by Blind Veterans.
This event is perfect for all those who want to come along to
support Blind Veteran Shaun Stocker, who will be completing part of
his Stockers Strides Challenge. Shaun will be walking 1 lap
of Lake Padarn at 10am from the Lake Railway Station situated at
the Slate Museum, following the railway tracks before continuing
around the lake to the Village Green. For more information
