Registration for Blind Veterans UK's first Ice Walk Challenge has opened and the team are now looking for 'brave soles' of all ages to take part.

Having the courage to undertake this challenge is a fitting way to mark the bravery of our veterans and those serving who may need the support of this charity at some point in the future - remember Blind Veterans UK offers support to our veterans no matter when or how they lost their sight.

The Ice Walk will be organised by nationally renown providers 'UK Fire Walking', who worked with the charity to provide Fire Walk Challenges. The event will take place at the Blind Veterans UK Llandudno centre on the 24th September.

The activity is an extremely rewarding experience, helping boost self-belief, confidence and gives those who complete the challenge the realisation that nothing is impossible.

The activity is fully risk assessed and open to ages 8years and over.

Those wishing to take part are asked to pay a £10 registration fee and pledge to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship.  Team entry is available contact the team for more information.  Pre-registration is essential.
